Avoid them like a plague! Like everyone who wished they never did business with them, I also got trapped because they appeared top as the cheapest on a popular comparison websites. Once you get trapped paying the deposit on accepting the online quote, they will send a text for you to call them after a couple of days and state all the reasons under the sun why your premium needs to go up. Like my workplace is further away from home and that I park the car overnight in the home garage and not on a drive way so premium must go up! Had to cancel the policy because the reworked premium was almost double the original quote. Besides they'd threaten you with all sorts of cancellation and admin fees. Worst customer service experience I ever had. Wouldn't tell me what their complaint procedure. Total waste of time and money. Appears their strategy is to fleece you out of your money before you get the chance to cancel, relying on their dodgy "terms and conditions". About time someone reports them to the authorities. Company is a fraud!

APPALLING! Do not have any dealings with this scamming company. They try to rip you off money for changes that they themselves impose on you though scare tactics. We tried purchasing car insurance with them and haven’t even finalised the policy and they made unfounded charges over the phone than argued over hours and hours after us trying to call back to claim our rightful money back from them. Customer service inexistent, awful people who only tried to scam us for more money in charges to a policy which wasn’t even fully finalised on my name. After completing the online purchase in which I put all the right information they sent back confirmation of purchase with wrong information prompting me to call them to make a change of information. They then asked for more and more information to then come up with more ‘changes to your policy fees’. Extremely dodgy business, which professionally scams innocent people under the false pretext of ‘legal charges’. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!! If you are unlucky enough to already have bought insurance with them, DO NOT COMMUNICATE OVER THE PHONE!!! Deal with them ONLY IN WRITING and involve ombudsman whenever you’re even slightly unsure of one of their charges applied to you.

STAY AWAY!!! Scammers acting under the umbrella of legal charges applied to you illegally. First and foremost they only deal with you over the phone, making you loose your patience through endless calls, clouding your judgement by inflicting insecurities and asking far too much personal information which is of no concern to them as an insurance broker. Inflicting charges over changes which they themselves push you to make under the false pretext that it is in your interest, even though you have not asked for these changes. Praying over the good will of people who only want to cover their belongings with legal insurance. Do not deal with them over the phone as you WILL be scammed into paying unfounded so called ‘legal charges’ which they very briefly and questionably so highlight in their inhumane T&C. STAY AWAY!!! There are so many other serious and fully legal companies to purchase these policies from. DO NOT RISK YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

Wish I had read the reviews before paying the money! They came up cheapest on a comparison website. Paid the money, only to be contacted to say I needed to pay more due to an accident 4 years earlier where I had been ran into by someone who claimed full responsibility and as such all the repairs etc.. went through their insurance. This added 30% to my annual premium. As I would have lost about that cancelling I decided to take it begrudgingly. Then they set up an incorrect DD date from what had been requested. I contacted them the day they tried to take payment to find out why this was incorrectly attempted and make a payment to avoid any issues. Only to be told that I would have to pay £20 fine whether I paid that day or waited for them to try and take it again. Spoke to Close Brothers the finance company who provides credit (strange set up but hey ho) and they were happy for payment to be made and said for them the matter is closed and there is no extra charge. Right Choice however then sent letter saying that unless a fine was paid my insurance would be cancelled within 7 days (bearing in mind I owe no money at this point and am already paying 30% more on the premium than likely I should). Spoke to customer service. The poor folk there seem to know they are stuck between a rock and a hard place by the companies bad practices as you can hear it in their voices. Either way their customer service as a result is cold and completely lacking compared to their own finance company who were pleasant, helpful and apologetic. They even have to put you on hold to speak to others, because Right Choice must not trust their front line staff to make a decision over £20. Obviously these decision makers then do not have to justify the decision to customers so will act with that level of detachment and indifference. Long story short, they refused any responsibility and refused to move over what is a paltry £20 amount (for me it was more the ethical point in it all). I hope this review balances the karma books slightly. Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with.

Absolutely awful a complete and utter scam. Don’t respond to emails, never pick up the phone and pick fault with every last bit of info you provide. Wouldn’t accept a letter from admiral insurance confirming my no claims bonus but never gave a reason why. Ended up giving up and getting cover elsewhere (who could auto check my NCB) and I’ll be issuing a money claim through the county court to get my money back as literally nothing prompts a response.

Awful lieing cheating Company. You pay for a quote. They then ring you and add more on. To cancel then cost money or pay the extra few hundred. Avoid avoid avoid. Also Amy who I spoke to was rude and very condescending. Just such a bad company. I hope they fold or change a lot.

Switched to MCN after they beat my current quote (by a small margin). Compared to my previous provider: - Documents took more than 2 days to arrive via email (previous was same day). - The login page to their website is currently down, so I can't view my documents (this has never happened before with other insurers). - They require several (5!!) documents to be sent to them before I'm officially insured (including a "garaging declaration"..!). I've been driving a car for 10 years and a bike for 2 and have never needed to provide this before. All in all, I'd rather pay slightly more not to have all off the hassle above. Will not use them again, and definitely would not recommend!

Basically a fraudulent company, try and add massive amounts to what they quote. Tried to add 170 to my quote, yet quoted me less than my original quote when i pout the info in online. They just want to get cancellation fees and as every other review seems to say they are a poor company all round. Id rather lose my 60 quid than give them any business. Pity i had to even give them 1 star.

AVOID this Broker company IT IS A SCAM !!!!! All the 5 star reviews are written by themselves!! This "company" RIGHT CHOICE CAR INSURANCE exist only on the paper, they sell other insurance company's policy's. They are a broker not a CAR insurance company. When i bought my insurance they ask for a lot of paperwork to begin with and you have only 2 weeks to collect it all and send it to them : Documents Required -Copy of the front of your driving licence photocard. Driving Licence must match policy address. -Copy of the back of your driving licence photocard. -DVLA Check Code. -No Claims Bonus Proof (Within the last 2 years & obtained from your last insurer. We are unable to accept schedules, statement of facts, statement of insurance and policy details). -Copy of the V5C registration certificate (‘log book’) All this to be sent within 2 weeks for the insurance to be valid. They have cancelled my car insurance policy as I did not send this to them within the 2 week period with a lost of £100 deposit. I had to complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service - which issued a warning to their company to resolve this issue. Note they appear to be the cheapest insurance on the market but will not pay out if there is an accident / claims. They even refused to send me my NCB at the end of the policy . Search elsewhere for a more reliable insurance company. RCIB needs to be investigated by the financial ombudsman

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Avoid them as much you can! I’ve done my policy with RCIB(ROMFORD) After take my deposit of £170, they call me and told me my car it’s not parked on a driveway and it’s front of my flat!!! This cost me, £150 on top, deposit So £320 total, and not £81 monthly as they gave me, £171 monthly.!!! Poor communication service! They send me insurance certificates with another name on it! And now, they don’t want to pay me deposit back!! Why??? I never use the car in 5 days.. They are BROKERS!
