I went through to Right Choice as they came up cheapest on a price comparison site, I was emailed to say that an agent would call me back to complete the purchase. It turns out the policy was provisionally booked, and they put a provision on my credit card blocking the quoted premium. The agent called me and went through every single detail as I filled everything on the comparison site, finally he found what he was looking for to say that I had not declared the day I acquired my new car, I explained that I declared the month and the year and there was no field to declare the date and for this reason he demanded a higher charge. what a con. He was looking for reasons to put the premium up. The cheapest price on the comparison site is a simple fish hooking exercise. An they had my money blocked "I was hooked" I said I would not buy from them because they increased the price and they should refund my money. the agent insisted I hadnt been charged and they havent taken any money. I couldnt see this money on my account. I phoned right choice and after holding for 30 minutes in each time to speak to someone and when they find out you want your money back, they dont want to know, they are probably on comission trying to ramp up premiums and rip customers off. I have repeated asked them to confirm to my card provider that the money should be released and I hadnt taken up a policy. They never did!!, it took 2 months for this money to come back to my account, (credit card provision expired). A disguisting company, AVOID! I paid £50 and went with a reputable well known insurance company and at least I know if I have an accident they will pick up the phone... AVOID THESE CLOWNS

Awful company, rude and are not helpful. They make mistakes and won't rectify them. I wish I had read these reviews before I had my insurance with them. I would give them minus 10 if I could.

i would have used much worse terms and words about this pathetic, ridiculous insurance company I have ever come across. Do not insure I am paying £20 a month extra elsewhere but will never insure with this morons ever again.

I would have give them a zero star but u don't have the option to!! WORST company ever, I strongly advise u to go elsewhere, rip off merchants, they take money out your bank and will not refund it!! I've contacted my solicitor along with the finance ombudsman!!

If there were 0 stars, i would choose that. Absolutely useless. Had an accident, they wanted proof of address which was provided to them, they failed to pass this on to the underwriters. When the problem was eventually sorted I cancelled the insurance as it was due for renewal. They failed to cancel the insurance which caused a problem with my new insurer. My no claims is protected, they delayed and delayed giving me my new claims. The staff who work for right choice are quite frankly useless people who don't care about customers at all. "Not my problem", "speak to management", "person is not in, can't deal with the problem". Useless, pathetic, and quite simply not fit for purpose.

Renewed breakdown cover for 3 cars, told documents will be sent (emailed). Not received after 14 days so sent email reminder. Another 6 days and no response. Sent another reminder, 3 days later received an email asking for my address and post code "so they can help me fully". I had originally quoted my Policy no., my renewal date, the fact that I had 3 cars and the makes of the cars. Emailed my address and post code. Still no response so sent details of the saga to CEO (mikejoseph@rcib.co.uk). Didn't get answer from him but did get email enclosing my "Documents" and "sorry for delay hope all in order etc" - Of course it wasn't - they only sent Documents for one car. Sent email asking for Documents for other 2 cars. Got 3 emails back, one with Documents for one car, one with Documents for the other car and one advising me that the other 2 emails with Documents had been sent. So at long last I have my Documents and all sorted. Oh no it's not! Today I received an email from them, "sorry etc etc - here's your Documents" - yes, Documents for all 3 cars again. So all in all it has taken 4 weeks to get my Documents, in duplicate of course, no personal response from the CEO (very poor practice) and no real apology other than stereo "sorry". I dread having to claim.

Absolute joke staff are rude manager don't even no how he has the job. Took £88 out of my account for a car I no longer own phoned to change my car over on my policy to be charged another £75 plus £25 admin charge which I gather was for the bad attitude off staff and the manager I just spoke to on phone. Or lose the £800 I've already paid. Now I have to go with no food or electric for next 2 wks 4 yrs with this insurance company to be treated like this is disgusting. I'd advise everybody to stay well clear of this company

Appalling customer service with particularly Aggressive manager. Premium higher than original on comparison site. Said they couldn't access comparison site quote and that price was no longer available just 10 minutes later. Judging by 350+ complaints on google this is regular ploy. Avoid.

took out insurance in Feb. Biggest regret ever!!! was informed all the documents I needed to send and was immediately put off, had insurance nearly 10 years and never had so much faffing about. Was then informed they do not allow you to change the direct debit date, from 18th to 27th. which makes NO sense whatsoever!!! EVERY month there is late payment fees. costing me £25 each time. so from March I have actually paid £225 EXTRA on top of monthly payments!!! I did pay half of the premium when taking out the policy which worked out around £500 whenever I ring to speak to someone and find out about these payments or discuss my complaints I am met with possibly the most stupid, rude and uneducated people who cannot hold a conversation to save their lives! placed on hold every other minute and never actually get to the bottom of any issues. feel completely ripped off, and hounded 24/7 Text messages, phone calls etc. had a message once telling me that if payment wasn't received immediately they were cancelling my policy. Since I have had nothing but issues and stress with them I have gone elsewhere, just received another text to threaten the same thing-Joke is on you RCIB....cancel my policy and do me a favour, savE me ringing your shambles of a call centre! i'm sure they will be chasing me soon and I look forward to tearing the head off whoever calls me with the attitude I am usually greeted with. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS-GOD HELP ANYBODY NEEDING TO CLAIM AND HOPING FOR A PAYOUT THROUGH THESE IDIOTS

Very rude, argumentative! Increased my quote for no reason when I first started my policy. Not one bit helpful what so ever! 100% avoid using Right Choice! They do everything the wrong way and customer service is terrible!

I wish to give them -1?? So bad customer service, so rude They was laughing on the phone , wasting my time 1.5 hours for nothing, seating in the car and waiting , they took the money from my account and we didn't get insurance

They were very rude and argumentative when I disputed the policy after being quoted a lower amount than what was taken out of my account. She put the extra costs down as admin fees and said they would not be put on the policy paperwork! This was after her saying that my policy has a typo on it and its the larger amount, she eventually slipped up and back tracked to put the amount down to admin fees. They con and rob customers, and their customer service is appauling! Would not recommend the hassle and frustration they cause!

88% of Customers cant be wrong, with an average 2.02 stars its speaks volumes. MY experience is dire they neither reply to email nor answer calls, Ive spent over an hour on hold, they basically just dont care. I would AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID, read the reviews pretty dismal, I'm waiting on a call back as they haven't included business cover on my car , and I can guess exactly whats coming next .... more dosh. If this is the case i will demand a full refund and report them to the insurance ombudsman.

I tried to take insurance out they quoted me quite cheap they held the payment then come back to me and told me I had claims against me I don't got in contact with my other insurance and they contacted right choice Insurance company and told them that doesn't affect my insurance policy then they took my payment told me that my insurance will go up so I told them to cancel it and I've transferred 115 outa 200. And then took another £200 out my bank it's put me in debt with my bank and give me charges I don't think these insurance company is good but I think they should not be able to take payments for insurance that you haven't took out and then take money off for you for nothing Not good they don't deserve any stars

I've cancelled my car insurance 2 days before my payment due and they still want money for another month!! I've already paid £450 cancellation fee! Greedy company!! Very bad and rude advisors working there.
