“I was miss sold insurance as a quote was secured and the deposit was paid by my partner - the company then contact me for further detail and the monthly payment had rose by £50. (I didn't know this at the time and they didn't inform me about the quote my partner had made.) I have the confirmation email which contains the original quote for my insurance and when I asked to give me what I have paid for, they refused and said I either pay the higher amended quote or cancel with a charge of £85.”

“I was happy with the consultant and the way he spoke to me however, I would have marked higher if a satisfactory explanation was given to why my insurance premium had increased by £100. I understand that the price was confirmed directly by the insurer and that I have a non-fault claim being processed but this should not have increased my premium to that extent.”
